Why do you like this sport?

Because I get to go real fast!

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I train 2 to 3 days per week and race a couple of times during the week. The rest of my time is for school, homework, library time, and then playtime with all of my Dinosaurs, Transformers, HotWheels, and Monster Trucks! (Not to mention getting on my little sisters nerves.)

Music?

Rock & Roll baby! But I still like R&B because my sister is always singing.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A Doctor or a dentist, we'll see.

What inspires you to compete?

Myself. My dad always gives me this inspirational speech about how life is like a game. There's a beginning, middle, and an end. You play it the best you can and work very hard to win and beat the other person. If we realize that we are all one, we will not try to beat the other person but work with them to win as a team. Life is a game and it does have to end but we should live it with compassion, love, teamwork, and kindness. It's okay to compete but compete with yourself. Do better to be a better person, not to beat someone else. Always strive harder to be better but not better than someone else. There is enough to go around in the Universe for everyone. Then, when that final day comes, you will leave this earth with dignity, respect, and love. You will know that you learned the lesson you were here to learn. You will know that you won and you are going to a wonderful place.

Q&A - Self Interview

So what got you started in BMX racing?

I guess my dad, he just loves riding himself. He would tell me about how when he was growing up that it was all he would do, is be out riding his BMX bike. In the field, to the mall, to my grandmas office, wherever. My dad also told me about when he jumped a ramp over 8 friends that were lying down on the street and how he even grazed my Godfathers belt!

How do you like BMX racing so far?

I LOVE IT! Everyday, I can't wait to hit the track and go through the rhythm section! I do it over and over and over, barely getting tired.

Do you think that you will race for a long time.

I think so. I think I was born to race, just look at my name! My dad took the training wheels off my bike right after my 3rd birthday and I've been non-stop since!
