What do you think about BMX in the Olympics?

Hi my name is Zack Frame and im writing this letter to ask a big favor.
i live in a little town called Needles California and there's a little skate park here but every time my friends and I go ride there the cops try and give my friends and I tickets just for having our bikes in there. There is no where else for us to go ride and further our bike riding to become better riders. I am asking you if there any way you can help me get a bmx park that has racing and freestyle in it. That way its not just for one style of riders, so my friends and I can continue to have fun and become better riders in the future. There are some really good young bike riders here. They can ride very well but they do not have a safe place to ride because they cant go into the skate park here. There are no other parks around here for at least an hour car ride and that park we have to watchout for people that will steal our bikes and what ever else we take with us. So this would be the greatest thing in the world if you could help me and all my friends have a safe and fun place to ride so we can further our riding and you can make ur name huge in the so-cal area and every one will know who made this posible to put a bmx park here. I am not to sure how to use the forum pages properly on here so I will just leave a message here and hope some one can point me in the right direction…
I run and organize summer camps for school kids here in Beijing and I am looking for enthusiastic poeple to teach skateborading and BMX and various other "extreme sports" during the summer holidays…are there any people out there who might be able to help with any information regarding possible instructors?(may also consider over sea's applicants but would prefer some one local) I am also looking to go and check out all the skate parks here in Beijing, but am finding it difficult to find their various hidden locations… so any help/info that you can pass on would be greatly appreciated.

I raced when I was younger and have been around the sport for a long time (not quite as long as some others). The Olympics will provide BMX the world audience it needs to show how great a sport it really is. Hopefully the sport will see immense growth following August! |
